Darren Lill, Team Type 1 Pro Men
Darren Lill established himself as one of the best climbers on the domestic racing scene in 2008 by scoring podium finishes whenever the race finished going up. His second place overall at the Mount Hood Cycling Classic and third place overall at the Bend Memorial Clinic Cascade Cycling Classic came in arguably two of the toughest climbing races in the United States.
As a second-year-professional in 2005, Lill won the world’s second-largest cycling event – beating more than 28,000 other competitors at the Pick’n Pay 94.7 Cycle Challenge 2005 in his homeland of South Africa.

Go kick some butt TT2 and TT1. Show ‘em what y’all go do. TT2 go show the world what a bunch of determined Type 2s can really do. This is kick ass, just kick ass. WOOO-FREAKING-HOOO!!!!!!
Go TT1 and TT2. You all are inspiring to all cyclists, both diabetic and not. I love what you are showing us about how to manage diabetes and exercise goals. And, about the abilities of the human mind and body.
